Atmosphere is top-knotch.
Another relaxed solo experience. Lots of locals here tonight. Good chatter at the bar. If I lived here, I'd be one them. Thank you End of the Line staff once again for making my trip to the valley worth it. Steak with a hunk o' fish and a beer! :)

Every town needs a pub, which used to mean "public house". End of the Line was historically our train station, and it has become, in its new form, an asset to this community. It's a meeting place, a place for a drink with friends, a place for comfort food and the large and small celebrations of life.

Not fancy, just fabulous!. We were originally going to eat in Annapolis Royal, but after reading TA reviews of The End of the Line and looking at their menu, we decided to go, seeing it as a more simple, less expensive option. We are SO happy we did! It's nothing fancy, but the quality and preparation of the food more than made up for that! We both had the Seafood Combo, with scallops and halibut as our two choices-my haddock was pan fried, my husband's was deep fried. Both of our meals were excellent! The braised scallops were cooked perfectly, and the haddock was a nice size piece, sweet and buttery, perfectly and simply seasoned. His nice crispy fries tasted as though they had been done in the freshest "old" flavor carry overs there. And my baked potato was perfect, with real butter served on the side. I marveled at how thin-sliced carrots could be cooked so perfectly, not at all mushy, but not crispy, either! Service was quick and friendly, and with a very good tip, our bill (including a draught beer for my husband) was $30 less than last night's meal at one of the top 5 rated restaurants in Annapolis Royal, which was good, but not great, and very, very slow!

Fabulous pub in an old train station. Great beer, great food and great service! The train decor suits the building perfectly, and shows the history of the building. Local talents play regional music during the week, which shouldn't be missed!

A perfectly fine spot to grab a bite -- friendly service and fresh food. Live music on Wednesday night helps to capture the spirit of Nova Scotia.

On the way home from a great weekend in Annapolis Royal, stopped by this pub and had a fantastic experience. Waitress was very friendly and created a great atmosphere. All in all we were both very impressed and highly recommend it. Will be back.

I eat at this restaurant each year when i travel to Bridgetown Nova Scotia and I have never been disappointed. My girlfriend who lives in the area has almost made it her second home. This year we shared haddock tips and the seafood platter with pan fried haddock, clams, scallops, and shrimp... What a pleasure. The service is great. ...I can't wait till next year - I'll be back for those clams!
